Logseq

Another quick comment about my digital notes with Logseq. I’ve been reading through the, “How to Take Smart Notes” book. This book is all about creating a Zettelkasten, with a nod to the use of modern digital tools. However, I’m not an academic researcher so I don’t really need a full Zettelkasten. I think I can get a lot of mileage out of taking relatively simple notes and linking them together in Logseq. I am interested in the concepts of small, atomic notes and the process of rewriting notes in my own words to help reinforce learning and retention, but I don’t necessarily see value in following the complete Zettelkasten system. Getting hung up on the system leads to friction, and friction leads to procrastination. At least in my case.
